Booking Breakout Rooms
Students must request a room through [email protected] using their Lotus Notes email account.
Using this email account allows us to confirm that the request is coming from a Schulich student. Students may book breakout rooms for group study starting Friday, at noon, for the following week (Monday-Sunday).
Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30-4:00pm

Guidelines for Using the Meeting Rooms
1. Rooms are used on a reservation-only basis.
2. Courses are given priority over the rooms. These rooms are scarce resources and therefore should not be used as private study rooms. The Bronfman Library has over 300 study spaces available for student use.
3. All users are expected to keep the rooms neat and professional in appearance. Therefore food (sandwiches, bagels, soup, salads, etc.) are prohibited inside the rooms.
4. Beverages are acceptable but please be careful.
5. Be Courteous. Clean up before you leave the meeting rooms.
6. Do not remove furniture out of the rooms.

- In the subject line of the email, please include:
- The location of the booking: Keele campus
- The DAY (Monday, Tuesday, etc.), DATE (e.g. October 1) and TIME (start and end time) for which you are making the request
In the body of your message, please indicate:
- The first and last names of at least two additional students who will be using this room for group study
- You are permitted one room request per day per group. Please communicate with your group members and send one email only per room request. In general, requests should be made at least 24 hours before the requested time to allow staff to provide service. Same-day requests will be filled for 12:00 noon onwards on a ‘best-efforts’ basis. All requested start times must be either on the hour or on the half-hour.
- Generally, breakout rooms will be available from: Mondays- Sundays, 8:30am – 12:30 am
- An email confirmation that the booking has been made (or notification that no room was available) will be sent to the student requesting space.
- All students using these rooms for group study are responsible for providing printed proof of their breakout room reservation.
- Any student or students occupying a breakout room without a reservation are obliged to vacate immediately when a group with a reservation arrives.
